Next generation multinational telephony

Telephony may no longer dominate everyday business communications, but it remains critical to be reachable via a business phone number, wherever you may be.

Next generation telephony is now being integrated into broader Unified Communications platforms, such as Microsoft Teams. Such deployments allow multinationals to manage telephony globally with a single consolidated provider, just as they manage Teams itself.

In doing so, the opportunity exists to simplify and standardise telephony management around the world, versus the status quo of multiple contracts with multiple domestic/regional carriers, each with their own disparate administration tools, support processes, security provisions.

Steve Flavell is co-CEO of LoopUp, the multinational Cloud Telephony provider, which enables enterprises to consolidate their global telephony procurement and management with a single vendor, rather than disparate implementations from multiple carriers. Based in London, Steve is responsible for LoopUp's global commercial activities. He has an MBA from Stanford and MEng from St. John's College, Cambridge.
